Hey Bert, i have a couple of questions
My friend and I are planning on driving down there and we were wondering whether there is a camp site where we can set up our tent ? we're planning on spending Friday night there.
Also, is there an area for Non-3D pilots cause i dont know how to do 3D or is this event for 3D people only?

So anybody have any tips on lipos and airlines? I want to bring my 700e. I guess I can check that but the liposuction I don't think so.

Brilliant! By the way my Droid doesn't like the word Lipos. Even though I fixed what it wanted to say it still changed it to Liposuction. Grr. Thanks for getting it anyway.

If your going to mail them, don't forget to bring a box to ship them back home, most folks pack up and leave late Sunday or bright an early Monday heading to the airport if you fly so you will want to have a box ready to ship it back home

haha, you can camp with a tent at the field if you find a spot, it is going to be very crowded and it is a small field for sure for the amount of people we are anticipating, I wish we could have secured a larger field!

I have to in advance apologize to all of you who have tried to call me and haven't received a call back, Tony, David, etc. I have been 100% swamped from morning to evening every day working on normal stuff, the fun fly, SmackTalk and traveling. I have also some family issues with my mom and Suzi's dad.

If you guys are bringing a camper/RV, please pre-register it by going to http://register.torchs.org/

If you have an RV, you should arrive at the field, not earlier than Tuesday afternoon/evening and no later than Thursday night. There will be two people at the field (Ray & James) assisting with the RV parking, they will guide you in and tell you where to park.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks!

Bert

Registered and looking forward to this event.

Question:
I'll be in Orlando on business Tuesday morning. Shouldn't take very long then I'm looking to stop by and check out the site and maybe get a couple flights in. (11/23)

Bert or anyone from torchs please drop me a email and let me know if this is possible.
Thanks,
Mark

Mark,

I apologize, but the fun fly field won't be open for helicopter flying until at least late Wednesday or early Thursday. The field doesn't belong to us, it is being "leased" to us for the fun fly. However, you're more than welcome to fly at our TORCHS Winter Garden field, which is about 3 miles away. Please visit our club web site http://www.torchs.org/ for directions to that field.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks

Bert

Bert,

Thanks for the reply, saved me from showing up to the wrong spot!

I realize you're busy, but if you're available on the 23rd for a couple of hours. I'd like to
hire you for short 3D class. Let me know. Email is listed above.

Mark, I would love to be able to help you, but those days are going to be totally crazy for me setting things up and overseeing everything, maybe some other time? Look me up when you're there though and we'll talk about it.

Tony, thanks man. We got you covered, Ray and James will take care of you and everyone showing up with an RV.
