damage was minor (if you consider it that)
- main blades - one blade holder (that is what I have to get online now) - landing skids - main gear - main shaft That's all (about 140-150 USD) - it is not too bad. Most expensive as always are the main blades. Rest is minor stuff. I will see if some one at the field has a spare main blade holder. At least I have the rest already fixed and ready to go. |

Yes this one was definitely pilot error, unfortunate but first pilot error since almost a year that ended in the dirt.

Nice flying. Sorry to see the crash. Maybe it might help to do more warm up packs before flying it hard. I bought my 600esp in dec 09 and a year is not up yet but im already at crash #20.

Not to be purposely snarly in your moment of pain, but your 3D skills are not good enough for close to ground stunts... That was clear throughout the routine (or you were really, really careless). That crash was inevitable, sooner or later. Take a thought from the fixed wing guys... fly at least 2 mistakes high... (ducking now...)

Hey whats up Christian, nice flight, sorry to see it crash, I watchted you fly when I was down there last weekend and I think your skills are great, your sticking to the basics, keeping things controlled, but you have to push it a little sometimes, pick it up, look at what went wrong and fix the error. It looks like your mind may have been some where else, on this flight, Cool slow motion on the end, your dad just rubbing it in, lol

The pitch range is +/- 13 on collective and +/- 10 on cyclic Motor is Neu Motor 1910H/1Y with 15 t pinion I ordered from CC and ESC is the CC Ice 100. It is running on a Hyperion G3 VX 35C 6500 mAh battery. BEC is just standard Align and receiver pack is the Hyperion G3 VX 35C 2500 mAh. The canopy was ordered from Canomod. Overall a nice machine. I will put the UK swash plate in this weekend to make it even more responsive. Overall even the standard features had been great. HEli will be back in the air on Saturday since I am just on the road during the week. |

Great flying very nice at the start skimming the floor and the rest to be fair. Unlucky hitting the deck man.
