Make sure you bind with all 3 satellites (or however many you choose to use) plugged in to the Total-G. Also ensure that if you turn power off from your Total-G that you turn your transmitter off and then back on before reapplying power to the Total-G.

I also experienced the same thing. Complete loss of stick input to the helicopter. I had nothing as well. Properly bound, power off and on both radio and unit, etc.. Running on all satellites as well.

Loss Hatori pipe, cracked engine case, blades, etc..

So, any more info?

How many satellites? Redundant power supply? Failsafe style switch? Regulator? Did you check the log after the crash?

I was running A123 straight. 6v.. I was using a heavy duty switch to turn it on, but that was it. Unfortunately, when the crash happened, nose down in the ground, the baterry was ejected. From my understanding the misses and counts will clear when you cycle the unit. So I could not look at any misses. No redundant power supply. never really have used one.

Ok, just checking. You're correct in that there would be no way to truly find out what happened then. There have just been so few communications related complaints with the totalg it's hard to imagine that was the problem although anything is possible. That's why I'm so anal about at least two power leads into the unit, 3 satellites (on a larger heli), and a failsafe style switch. If i lose stick input then I want to be 100% sure it was the unit that failed and not that I was losing power input. Sorry to hear about the crash man. That really sucks.

Spoke with Brian this AM. He took plenty of time and discussed my concerns with me, also explained the reasoning behind there mode of failsafe. Waiting for a RMA# and off my unit goes for testing.
