Ah, so it's another one of Florida's under developed developments...I used to fly on one in Central FL when I was a teenager..Silver Springs Shores just SE of Ocala.

Lotsa roads, no houses, flat land all around. Kool.

I witnessed Bobby's mad attempt to 're-stripe' the road with white blade tips...

Looking forward to meeting everyone!

There just might be enough room for you to setup cones on the street/runway where the guy used to land his fullscale turbine powered glassair <G>

Looks like I won't be able to make it this weekend. My wife totaled her car (women drivers) and I have unscheduled maintenance this week on every model I own so nothing to fly.

Loop and Bobby, I'll try to make plans to head down soon and bang the sticks with you.

It looks as though we will get lucky with the weather. It is quite ugly right now, but the forecast for Saturday is calling for mostly sunny and not too much wind!

High in the mid 60's though, so I will be wearing shoes for the first time this season. Probably my snow pants and parka as well...

See you there!

I made it home and wanted to thank everyone for a great time. Thanks to all the Guys at Esprit. Special thanks to Gary Wright for all his hospitality.

Thanks to everyone that came to fly with us!

Clint, your Ion was looking nice! Glad you made it home safely, and know you and Will made quite a drive to be here.

Lots of new faces were there, and not too many mishaps. Overall a great day!

Thanks again to all that made the trip!

I too had a blast on Sat. Lots of new and old faces. The electrics seem to just keep getting better and better. Thanks to the guys at Espirit for a great time!

I went to school at FloridaTech just up the road in Melbourne. Lived in Palm Bay. We used to do all kinds of questionable things down there. We used to land my Aeronca out there. One night we painted a fullscale runway....took us all night. Came out good though.

Sadly, some rental cars didn't make it back from the crossroads in the same condition they arrived.
