Default V100D01 vs CB100

Hi All
I haven't been to active with my helis lately due to a house renno (and a workshop full of other peoples stuff ) but just found that Walkera are now producing a Flybar-less model.

Is there anyone out there that has installed the V100 flybar-less system into the CB100, lots of the parts are identical except for the head/receiver/ESC's

Interested to hear on anyones experiences with this heli (if any)

I almost brought one today, if any one has, what are you experiences with this little heli. It sure looks nice and the flybar-less feature looks interesting.

Love to hear anyone's comments and impressions on this heli.

Barbones version at MM for $149US seems to be pretty good value

Cheers

I have been wondering how much work it would be to convert the CB100 to the V100D01 also.
I hear the frame is different, obviously there are some head parts (or maybe all head parts), RX, ESC's that would need changing as Rockers said. If that's all then it would be almost half the cost of buying a BNF.
Anyone tried it yet?

You're right
I already have a CB100 and a couple V120D02. I told myself I wouldn't get any more, but my trigger finger is itchy for the M120D01 I figure if I can save myself $100 by converting the CB to the V100 it will help the addiction. I feel the flybar messes with the performance of the heli.

Looks to me like you'd need the frame, RX, bearings, main shaft, all of the rotor head bits and maybe the blades. Looks like you'd be right at $100.

I started ordering some parts. When the conversion is done, I'll post a parts list. Why do I do this to myself

Hi All,
I did other way around ! V100 turned into CB100.. I didn't like the flying characteristic, the reason was ( head speed-way too fast ) for me flying space is limited !
Here are some parts you may needed for your conversion for V100
Main frame, swash, head with main shaft ,blade holder , main roto blades, linkages
servo holder and Rx ( bearings usually comes with the main frame) i hope this would helpful to you all ! since most of you already have CB100 i'll post my most highly upgraded version CB100 video soon... good luck...to all

bro, i'm about to do the same thing. giving up my V100D01 as I can't get rid off the problem whenever throttle up, either aileron OR elevator servo push up without no reason.
mind sharing the part list required to convert V100D01 to CB100?

thanks in advance

Default v100d01 conversion to cb100 kinda

Hi just wondering how this conversion of a v100d01 to cb100 went. Also do you know if I can just change the main shaft and rotor head assembly instead of main frame, servo holder etc? I just want the fly bar head on the v100d01 for a little while to slow the heli down.

Any comments. Thanks
