Has anyone tried the short spindle on the FBL? Would it change much? After all it's not even 1mm shorter
Thanks. |

It would change the Delta geometry, which could affect the way the FBL unit handles things. It probably wouldn't be catastrophic though, and I say that because I did a home-brew FBL conversion on my big Protos and it had a Delta offset (links were pushed past the shaft centerline). It always flew fine (Skookum SK360). As they say, your mileage may vary.

Right about the delta geometry, but if I put the same washer spacing, then everything should be the same no?

No, the spindle is too short to use the same washer spacing. You wouldn't be able to fully tighten the bolts, methinks.

I guess I'm going to wait for the longer spindle then.
