play in the swash plate of the 12 T500 FBL head.. few questions

hello guys, i have vertical movement in the swash plate of the I2 T500 FBL head.. the swash plate that has 4 ball links and connects links from main blade grips down to swash has vertical movement..maybe i have a shot or bad bearing in this swash so im looking for directions for the disassembly of this swash???

can someone plaease point me in the right direction??

Get the stock Align part

Just kidding, but if it is bearing play, then the best bet would be to replace it.

replace the bearing? or replace the whole swash plate??? this thing on the RC-TEK web page is 60 bucks alone..

i can probably shot a shot video of the problem with my Iphone and send to an email.. i do not have a youtube acct..

The I2 swash is supposed to be serviceable, ie, you can replace the bearings in it (unlike the stock Align unit).

I'd pull it apart to see if anything's amiss anyway.

A video of the play may be useful.

Perhaps you should shoot an email to the manufacturer and see what he says about it?

I just noticed my stock Align swash plate has a lot of play in it also. The rotating portion has an uncomfortale amount of play. I haven't taken it off yet, but from the bottom, there are 2 notches as though it is installed with a "spanner" wrench. I'm hoping I can tighten it up or I'm looking at a new swash plate also. I only have about 50 flights on the 500?
