Thinking About A Skookum SK-720!!

Hi all,

For my next heli (Velocity 90) I'd like to try a Skookum SK-720... But, I don't want to get something that is full of problems!! So far all I've seen problem wise is the tail wag with V2 (?)... Can't seen to see anything else!! Are there anymore problems??

Also, for those that have one, how are you getting on with it??

My v2.02 is just fine. 2.03 should be out in a week or so. Get it!

Wait until 2.03 comes out and see if it gets good reports.

Hi Shaun,
There are no other problems other than the tail issue that affected some users, and the 2.03 beta testers seem to be giving the fix the thumbs up.

I now have 3 helis up and flying as of yesterday (T700e, T600e and 450PRO) and I'm only having issues with my 700 - the other two are super stable.

I have been very impatient, and a little angy, because I'm on annual leave and just wanted to fly my 700. Other than I would say it's an awesome product with excellent customer service.

So I would highly recommend getting one

I know it's very sad... But another plus for me.... Lukas Riva uses one!!!

Bit of a learning curve for flybarless in general but it's worth it. Just like adding power steering.

I like that analogy! I've been thrying to come up with something that describes what a new 6-axis controller is like, it's so hard to describe to people.
