No idea about your chargers as i use 3010b chargers.

as for Hs , I run 1700/2000/2200 and its moving on idle 2 : )
Think max HS for the bird is 2400 before you start wearing out the bearings to much and bending things in flight.

The owner's manual suggests to keep it under 2250, but i know many people that run it higher. What ESC are you using? Setting up your ESC in gov mode is the easiest way to fly at a desired headspeed. 1900 is rather slow. 2000 will do all 3D moves smoothly yet conserving battery life. You can go higher of course to get more power. I don't know about your charger either.

You actually only have 5000mah capacity in your batteries, bet setting the charger higher doesn't hurt anything. Series charging adds the voltages together, parallel charging adds capacities. So you are actually trying to charge at 2c, I don't know if that charger has the power to actually go to 10A at 12s, the 615i Duo 3 I have can't. The Duo 3+ almost can, the newest 720i Super Duo 3 can. Check the actual charging current while charging and see what the charger is actually doing.

HS 1800-2100-2200 like f22 said 2250 MOVES! If your not great in FFF at 2250 she can get away from you. When i pull fast circuits and cut the cylic on a dime the power of the blades fart ripples for miles

I charge on 2 duo 3's almost 8 amps per channel almost 2c
but on my duo 3 + i should be able to get 3c charge rates going

Very true. It's so great in a forested area. The echos sounds cool.

I have the same charger and believe the directions state that the charger will only do 7s packs. It'll do 14s if you link another charger. I see by your wiring that your charging in series. I always heard that you should not charge in series, but that parallel charging was much safer. That charger will charge at 550 watts with a 24 volt input, 250 watts at 12 volts. I'm running my cc ice hv120 with fixed end points and a flat 100 for idle 2 and I cant get my head speed any higher than 1900. How can I get it higher with out going gov mode or change gearing

I couldn't imagine waiting 2 hours for batteries to charge. That would suck. I'm flying 6-7 minutes and charging for about 30-35 minutes. 8amp balance charge on a 2C charge rated 6S 5000. I really want to try out the nano-tech packs.

If you're running the stock gearing, it sounds like your throttle isn't calibrated in the ICE. If I were on fixed end points at 100% the HS would be around 2300+.

If it's taking more than about 90min you are definitely not charging at 1c. Max it should be less than 90mins. Are you sure you don't have it set for 100mah? I would set it for a charge rate of 5A. It looks like your charger can do the full 2c charge rate as long as your power supply can handle it. If it's a 12v source, its going to take more than double what you are wanting to charge at.

After Loki g at your pic again your definitely charging them in series. Parallel is wiring involves getting or making a a charging adapter in which both Positives or reds are connected and both negatives or blacks are connected. Basically a y adapter. Heli direct has them with different connectors. I'd post the link but im on my iPhone and not sure how to do it

In have done the setup and I followed the videos and still can't get what I want. My radio is a JR11x. The low end point is at 123 because of the auto rotation feature and high end point is at 96, that's 2 points higher than when it gives the tone

According to the pic you are using the charger as it is intended to be used. I don't understand why it took 3 hours to charge. Like I said, you have it set for double the actual capacity that you have. The charger must not be getting close to the 10A you are asking it to charge at. What amperage did the charger say it was charging at? I don't like the chargers that set the current automatically, I always set it manually. I have a couple of chargers that can't charge some of my batteries at a full 1C because of their low power limits, but my 615i can do about 7.5A on the same battery setup you are using and would charge that in under an hour. The specs on your charger say it can do 550W, that would be 550/50.4=11A charge rate as long as the power supply can handle that. If it couldn't, I would think the charger would have had a low input voltage error. I don't remember if the Hyperions do that or not, but the Thunder Power chargers that I have used would have.

Something sounds contrary to what I would have expected, and its hard to diagnose over the internet.

I don't believe he is using it properly. Don't get me wrong I'm no expert but I know for a fact that, that charger is not capable of charging at 12s. Only 7s, so he's not putting 44 volts to them. He needs to buy or make a parallel adapter "with larger gauge wire I might add" to get the most out of that charger, not to mention a 24-28 volt power supply to get the 550 watt max output of that charger.I have also seem threads aboutnot charging batteries in series as its not safe. If you goto the FMA revco web site, parellel charging is explained very well there as thief powerlab 8 is designed for it

Up to 14s and 550W with a 20A limit. The picture looks correct as long as the leads from the charger are going to the correct sides from the battery, like the + is supposed to go to the battery plugged into the left balance port. I looked for the manual online and they didn't have it available. Double check that and the wiring looks good. That only leaves programming or a faulty charger.
