The ones I tend to use more than the others
Sapphire 90 Trex 600 n/e Aurora 90 BO-105 for variation and depending on what I want to practice.

i mostly use the trex 450 pro and esky honeybee king 2. most ppl here seem to prefer big helis and i can see the advantage for learning, but (assuming sim helis are easier than real life helis) i think big helis just flatter your ability and lead you to to learning too slow reactions for real life helis. i flew the trex 500 for weeks on phoenix and found it very difficult to readust back to the 450 and king again. after a while of flying a 450 or king, your reactions speed up and it feels just the same as a trex 500 anyway (until you fly a 500, when that feels too slow and you realize how good youve become
i sometimes use the trex 250 and mcpx for a while when i want my fave helis to feel more big and controllable, but i dont really like them much. of the two i think i prefer the mcpx (with tweaked settings). the 250 has some quite nasty traits IMO, maybe to do with its very high disk loading, that i cant seem to adjust out. its still fun but it never stops being frustrating, when the 450 / king are not. |

The Protos is usually what I like.
Some guy's posted a more aggresive 'Protos mini' in the protos mini section, check it out. In fact the B450 model isn't too bad either. Increase the headspeed and collective and it becomes more squirelly. I also like the Align 550's and 250's just for variety.

For over a year I've only used one heli (and one field) on Phoenix. My Fusion 50 in my colors (I made the varient from the Velocity 50)

I can identify with that one field thing. I've probably used the default grass field (the one it starts up on) 99% of the time - the 1% being the times I checked out the other fields.
I used to be able to use my 3D stereo glasses here even on this stock photo field (backgrounds are a bit messed up but don't care) but lately I've only successfully used the 3D glasses on the 3D fields.... bit of a bummer there, cos I hate those fields - I only use the one, as stated.

Sikorsky, you can roll on the tail like a car and looks awesome doing piroflips.
I wish they come out with 6hv, 7hv, logo 600/800 Instead of trying to make this garbage 3d map crap that I dont care about. |

Henseleit Three Dee Rigid,
The one I like the most. I sure hope this is how my 600e Skookum DFC is gonna fly. |

My favorite is the Aurora Ultimate 90. It flies very well when tweaked just right.
The 2nd one is the Trex 450 SE since I have an EXI 450 Pro belted heli. It has to be tweaked just right so its vertical hang time matches the real one. 3rd is the Outrage 550. I like it better than the 450 but the vertical hang time is way to long to use it instead of a 450. The real 450 drops like a rock when turned up knife edge. I used to use the TDR a lot, it flies great, it just doesn't feel anywhere close to going 147 MPH to me. Those things haul A double S.

The TDR is my favorite since a year back. One of the few I thought flew really good (and now even better :-) ..)
