I used 3/32", it is a little smaller than the CF boom but all I did to make up the difference is take some clear fingernail polish & paint it on in the area that will go into the frame. Wait until it is just tacky & push it in. When it dries it will act like glue but will be easy to get out if needed. I believe the length I used was 106mm.

Does Home Depot or Lowes carry aluminum tubes like that or where would you recommend going?

Maybe a shop vac with a hepa filter and a mask, you don't want any fibers in the house. (if you can't cut outside)

I wouldnt really know. At first I thought the battery would charge because the charger was the AAs in the remote control. Then a month later I got a wall charger from China and now I realize the battery that came with it was DOA. So now I have to buy a new battery.

It does fly for maybe 5 seconds before the battery dies and I get the feeling the nine eagles is in between a mSR and CB100. It is very stable and quite precise but ultimately too light and lacks the wonderful inertia and natural flight of a walkera.

I started with Walkeras and then bought everything else so I could understand the difference between brands, and now that I have I probably will never buy any other brand in the micro market.

Maybe I will get to know Aligns when I one day step up to the bigger helis (I hear their 100 is a big failure so Im not going to waste money on it) but anything bigger than a 120 doesnt really interest me right now so I can only recommend Walkeras and the learning how to mod them which comes with the territory.

I just bought a new CB100 today. My wife and I just had a new baby and I was missing flying so I started looking for a micro I could bind to my 2801 pro and fly indoors. These links will be the first I use to hopup the little bird.

What did you use to hold the horizontal tail stabilizer to the tail boom?

A CF tail boom has been hard to find so far. Any links?

Sorry for the slow response, I haven't logged in lately. The horizontal fin from Clubheli comes with a bracket and screws to attach it. It also has two holes to attach the braces.
