AR7110 7-Channel DSMX Heli Receiver for Gasser???

Noob to gasser helis. Want to know if anyone has used the:

AR7110 7-Channel DSMX Heli Receiver w/ rev limiter

on a gasser.

I'm trying to get everthing together for a new G-30 and would like some input on this Rx. Will the built in rev limiter work on a gas engine?

What else would be needed for the sensing. (stator gator?)

I run a 7100R on my 20, and I just mounted the sensor under the fan shroud . It reads of the EI magnet just fine. Holds RPM very well. I have run this way for over a year and no problems.

I will also be using a Spektrum sensor on Radikal g20 as per your setup. Does it make any differnce on the orientation of the sensor. I thought a I read another thread where it would only read correctly in one direction. Thanks.
