Great vids ! as always
maybe something worth mentioning in step J and K is the position of the head important ?
like 90 degree from the boom ?

For step J the blades should be parallel to the boom. For K the position doesn't matter. If you have done the previous steps correctly, the min and max pitch degrees should be the same regardless of head position.

Just to say to Helico-pteron thanks for the thread and to Nex for the great videos. Just got one of those new Spektrum Receiver/Beast combos and it helped me understand the setup a lot - its the same basically - you just get a built in 7 channel Spektrum DSMX receiver too. Cheers guys

Hey Rob,

Just went through the videos last night. Thanks so much for this great resource. Setup makes so much more sense now that you have explained it. You even answered my question about skipping through the setup points in your final video - absolutely perfect!

Great tutorial video Nexgen, i'd definitely learn quite alot from watching your video a few times and getting it setup on my Trex500 EFL Pro.

Excellent videos Nexgen and Ivan!
As a curious noob, these were done on V2 correct? Is there anything majorly different in V3 that warrants updated videos?

On step G, toward the end where you are setting zero pitch with a screwdriver or long rod, are you just eyeballing the screwdiver next to the shaft? I know a lot of people use a gauge here, but I like the idea of setting zero pitch relative to the shaft this way because it's very quick and easy. Is the accuracy ok using this method?

I sometimes use a long allen wrench and eyeball it down the middle of the shaft. It's very easy to tell if there is pitch in either direction.
