Default FBL Head for 90 V2

Has anyone fitted this JS FBL head onto the 90 V2 ?
It say's its for the 50 but will fit a 10 mm Main shaft which the 90 has.
Is it man enough for a 90 ?
Most of the 90 size FBL heads fit a 12 mm main shaft.
Will be using the Futaba CGY unit with S-Bus

Many thanks in advance.

I have one of these http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...d-Frenzy-90-TT
Still building the heli so haven't flown the FBL yet but it fits ok.
If you didn't know Amain stocks JS models parts and are a good alternative to HK

I read the comments on the amain site for the JS FBL head and they complain that the mixing arms are to short and don't allow enough pitch range.

Look at maybe a trex 600 FBL head, I am thinking of getting a trex 600 swash and FBL head as these are 10mm main shaft units.

Is it really possible to do this? The 90 blade bolt hole and the root thickness is different so is incompatible with a 600 head blade grip....or am I missing something?

Get the RJX head. It is made for a .90 size bird with a 10mm shaft. I have the 12mm version for my T-Rex 700E conversion and it works great and is tough. http://helidirect.com/flybarless-hea...is-p-13158.hdx

Default Many Thanks

Many thanks for your replies, Food for thought. May go for the JS 90 head with a trexx 600
swash driver, then all the spares that I hold will suffice any incident !!!! Whichever hardware
I use the electronics will be the new Futaba CGY unit. I have watched with great interest serpent887 trials and tribulations that he has had with different FBL systems, and the ease
of the Futaba unit to setup straight out of the box. I am only a club flyer and the reliability of Futaba appeals to me.

You can get stretched 690mm, 4mmx12mm root blades for the FBL heads

Like I say, haven't done but have got my shopping list to this, there may be something I'm missing but I think I have is pretty close now.
