Question Tail steering

Hello all!
Had a good crush yesterday
Probably wind blew and couldn't control the heli, or that is my excuse
Eitherway, has anybody got to propose a V120D02 replace of the tail parts? The one that I broke is the tail steering. It's got some tiny ball part that broke off. Probably because it is plastic. Any other more durable tail?
And of course supplier...
Thank you!

Dennis.

Is it the servo arm ball that is broken, or the pitch slider leverage arm? The last one has a small metal ball, the servo arm ball is plastic.

I used a cyclic servo arm and put it on the tail servo with the ball in the first centermost hole. Works like a charm.

Walkera calls it a tail steering drive. Got a picture of it attached. Red area is the broken ball. Plastic one... Could you show me with a picture of what you modified?
Thanks.

Hi Dennis,

I did not modify this part. I call it a tail pitch slider.
I know that on the German forums people have modified it by replacing the bad ugly Walkera bearing with a high quality one. However, I do not know how to do it.

I ordered the MicroHeli version, and it works well. Alternatively, you can get the Walkera V120D05 version, which is metal. However, the inner diameter of the pitch slider is too large for the normal V120D02/4G6 tail shaft, so it is not a perfect fit.

I just installed the microheli pitch slider, and highly recommend it! It is the mustard as Heathy says. Removed most of the slop from tail.

+1 on the Microheli tailpitchslider. It was the first upgrade I got for my first 4g6 and I have been using it on all my walkera's since.

and for about 12$ it's well worth the money.

Thanks!
Found the tail pitch slider in microheli web site. Do you know which one will fit V120D02? They got two different models.
One more thing, slider seems to be missing the two arms that connect it to the aluminium tail rotor... Are they extra? Which ones?

Dennis.

Take the 4g6S version. For the arms you take the ones from your walkera plastic slider.
