Default New Protos Owner

Just want to say Hi. I'm aquiring a 500 in a trade. My old RC car's for the 500. It's to fast for the guy he's scared to crash LOL. So, what do I need to know about the Protos? It's coming RTF. But I am not sure what version. I read something about V1 tail cases crappy???

Ask who you got it from when they bought the kit. I think everything from 2nd half of 2009 and since was up to date.

Also, there's plenty of info on the Protos here. Just do a search first when you have a question about something or some part.

Even better, post some pictures of the heli (tail case, motor, ESC, main grips, etc...).
It's easy to see if it is up to date or not...

If the previous owner was scared to crash it then he must not have a lot of flight/mechanical experience if he traded it. You should really double check everything to make sure he put it together correctly.
