Want the mini but worried about swash

I really would like a FBL 450, but I am worried about all the bad things I read about the swash. I have a Trex 450. Was thinking about going FBL with that but I really want to pull the trigger on the Mini. Any comparisons to a Trex FBL vs. a Mini FBL?

Hi,
Only few swash presented some slop (mine is perfect despite some good crash), so I wouldn't worry about it. Actually the swash in my trex has much more play since first days.

I can comment only the FB setup: the mini is locked in compared to my 450.

I had a sloppy swash (up and down play from poor inner swash ring attachment to the bearing inner race). Got a new swash with no play installed. I couldnt really tell much difference though (FBL w/Vbar). Maybe the collective got better, but not so much that I noticed (I dont notice much at times though, lol).

I think you'll really like the Protos compared to a Trex...the silence is quite nice, and the heli is pretty slick also

dont worry about the swash,
mine has the slop and flies waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than my pro

If you buy from a store that sells a lot of mini-p kits you will most likely get a new style swash. I bought mine from helidirect and the swash was the new style.
