0-pitch setup - thank you GimpyGolden

Ok, I'm probably going to expose myself for the idiot that I am right now, but i have to give a shout-out to GimpyGolden.

I've always been an advocate of turning the blades 90 degrees and making the blade tips touch to set 0 pitch on a flybarless heli. In fact, I've argued the point on this forum a few times. Recently I saw a video & post about this by GimpyGolden and he uses the same technique, with one minor, but important difference:
He lays the heli on it's side on the edge of his workbench and lets the blades hang down instead of loading up the servos.

Honestly, never ever occurred to me to do that... Without the servos buzzing and begging to be put out of their misery, adjusting 0 pitch becomes a much more relaxed affair .

So yupp, I'm a tool, I would have never in a million years come up with this simple-yet-effective idea. Thanks to Gimpy for pointing out the (almost) obvious for thick people like me!

every time I had to do set up I cringed as the servos buzzed like crazy !

Thanks for the kind words but I can't take credit as to it being my idea.
I read somewhere here on HeliFreak, may have been Mr.Mel.
I sure does give a better outcome since no matter how hard we try the linkages always have some slop which really affects setup. With Gravity out of the way we get a proper setting of Zero pitch.
