I did a quick search on the blade 450 and found a place that sells it when in stock for 373.49.
Thats almost 100 cheaper than anyplace listed so far. anyone ever deal with this place ampdraw.com ? is this for real or a scam?

here is the listing see for yourself.

It's looks legitimate to me. They are a bricks-and-morter store in Encinitas, CA. Here is their Google maps listing:

Their site has a valid SSL certificate and the Godaddy who-is record validates back to their physical store address: http://who.godaddy.com.

The way I understand it, as long as the retailer doesn't advertise his price lower than MSRP, he can sell it for what he wants. If you'll notice you have to put the heli in the basket before the price shows up. I know in the past some retailers have lost HH and their products for advertising and selling at lower than MSRP (if MSRP is the right term) but I think this site is doing nothing wrong?????

OIC. well just wanted to compare prices to my local shop as i do want to save some cash as we all do. but if my LHS is close to this price id rather shop from them to give them some support. just thought that almost 100 less than the MSRP was alot. since RCboca has an older 400 rtf for sale and they still want 399.99 for it.

Horizon took away their contract. We're guessing it was because of their prices being so much lowers than everyone else's.

Sub92,
Do you mean HH lowering the MSRP or shops selling it for less? If you mean HH lowering MSRP I will bet against you. The LHSs can sell it for what they want, they just can't advertise their discounted price.

I hope your right cause buyers want to pay less, but sellers want to make more.

MSRP will always be high.... but most places will sell you one for 399.. in time 369 I am sure of it.. look at the DX8 MSRP vs sale price

After all the delays, I bought a newly built never flown Trex 450 Sport for same the price as the Blade 450 BNF ($300.00) on the classified forums so I wasn't planning on buying this bird. However, I couldn't pass on the price for the BNF version at Ampdraw (who am I kidding, I would have probably bought it anyway at retail price! ) Anyway, they are totally legit and processed my order right away. Fedex tracking number says it will be here on Friday.

Thanks for the heads-up on Ampdraw.

Wow that's a great price for the BNF. One of my lhs is selling for 299 and another will only special order it for 299.

If I go this route would you order te eflite battery and charger, or a different charger?
