Default What the heck are these?

I was cleaning up from my build and found a un open bag with these 2 rods.. looked back through the manual and found nothing about them.

If you look at the Aileron bell cranks and the elevator A arm they have holes that match up with some holes on the frame. It will hold everything at 90 degrees so you can adjust your linkages perfectly and level your swash plate. A great little feature that I think all helis should have.

Its a swash lock... makes setup that much easier and more enjoyable.

lol.... i was wondering the exact same thing rofl!!
I saw the holes and was using being able to see all the way through as a right on the money.. never thought of those as going in the holes haha..

Below is a picture of them in use, together with a swash plate leveler. I really like those voodoo needles, they made the swash perfectly level at first try. The only complaint is that I managed to bend one of them as the holes were pretty tight.

Not sure why Outrage don't make a bigger thing of these rods in the manual- it's a really good idea that everyone likes so why not promote them!

It should be in the manual and more so advertised in the list of features where ever they advertised and sell this heli.

one of the best and easiest ways I have seen to level the swash plate. I love them. Would be nice to have it for other helis too.

Some companies are doing it.. high end JRs and the Big Rave does it as well.

That's what I thought they were for but I couldn't push the tools through the frame easily so I thought it was for something else

I had to drill out the holes in the frame to get the pins through, but they sure do make for an easy setup!

I just lined up till i could see through all the holes and called it a day

There were just some burrs left over from machining... my locking pins were tight the first time too.
