Default Chaos 600 CF build (first build ever)

Just curious, I've heard a lot about RCA's chaos helis. I know they are extremely similar but would chaos qualify for its own board?

Also, who flies chaos helis? I heard that their super combos are pretty awesome as is. If I dont end up buying a built heli used off here I plan on waiting another month and getting the 700 super combo. I'm new so i would only be doing hovering and sport flying at best.

What do you guys thing? Anyone fly these and have any helpful criticism?

I did a little research on the Chaos Helis the other day and found them to be about as good as Trex helis with much better pricing. A lot of good reviews and I think I will try one very soon.

Anyone have this mysterious tail failure problem i read on rcgroups? I think they were old posts so the poblems been long fixxed. For the price, and that not many people refer to them as clones, i think i have to buy a 700 for my first real heli.

So next question... do you consider chaos a clone or a bird to be proud of? Aka not putting align decals to make it look like a rex?

Can't speak for the 700, but the 600 is designed to accept a 12S motor with out any frame modifications so I don't consider it a clone

I have a Chaos 600 combo kit. It's going together great. No problems so far. I am working on installing the electronics now. The Chaos "family" is growing.

The Chaos is a bird to be very proud of. I haven't finished building mine yet and still have tons to learn, but I'm working on it. ( sent from my keyboard )

I have a 500 and its a great heli. highly recommend them. Also, RCA has great customer service. If anything is wrong they stand by their kits and will fix it (unlike Align).

I'm curious about their super combo kits. I nearly went with one a while back, but couldn't find any info on the electronics they include. I sent an email, but never heard back. As I was interested in the 700, I wanted to make sure the servos weren't complete junk, but couldn't even find any alpaca for them.

The electronics on my 600 Ltd. Edition combo kit are Pheonixtech parts. Check their website out for more info.

I have a 600 electric. Did learn you must dis-assemble everything and blue loctite all metal to metal parts. Don't ask!! Missed a ball on the swashplate. I am still hovering, but have several folks at the field fly it, and they like it.
Noticed that the parts prices from the distributor are about what the list prices are for the T-Rex parts.

You have to take apart everything on any heli and loctite it,even on the Align heli's ..Not sure about the 600 but the 700 part's are cheaper than Align ..

I have a Chaos 600 frame that is being used as a replacement frame on a Trex 600 ESP. I like it A LOT better, carbon fiber is thicker, the frame itself is a bit wider (which means additional parts to buy but worth it) and it has the 3rd bearing block.
Hat's off to my friends that have helped me get this together, it's almost there.
You know who you are!

Wow,really getting swung towards the Chaos 600 for my daily flyer. Flying a Storm 450 to get me used to flying after 20 years and looking for a larger heli and this one looks great and I could put a scale fuse on it later if I want....
