They weigh 60% less and look cool too! I'll be at Ircha with a few extra sets, if anyone is interested, I'll be at the Helicommand booth mostly, and of course at the speed cup.

I just ordered the v2 Skids from here: http://www.heli-innovations.de/?page_id=596

I like the lower profile of the v2's and may be a little more forgiving on hard landings from poor auto's - when I finally build up the courage to do one with the TDR!

I've the Heli-Innovation v2, they're really great! 2cm lower and a little bit increased angle.
The frame tuning is nice, but I build mine differently to also stiffen between the frame between both sides. This really improves the frame...
I have a 2011 TDR with already changed bearing block and used a 15T and my 4525LE still left some really deep marks in my bearing block after some hard moves...
