Default Sim recordings

How are you guys publishing your sim recordings?

I have always used FRAPS but it always looks like crap while I see some of you put up crystal clear sim vids.

I'm not much of a simmer but I'm broke and so's my heli

Anywho,see what I mean?

Also, while you're at it,explain why my heli is all over the place when my REAL heli will stay put in slow half piro flips like that.

I'm adjusting the cyclic exactly the way it feels like I should but the heli is just off.
Almost like a phasing issue.

Is that adjustable on the sim?

Thanks.

EDIT: I see there is a sim forum board...Maybe someone can move this so I don't have to start a clone thread???

Appreciate tips before and after it is or isn't moved

Try making your sim model feel like your own... slow down the flip and roll rates, add expo etc. You can get them to match.

BTW... What settings and/or video card do you use? Your rotor disk looks like a plate!!

Here's my solution. Make a recording. Play it back while pointing my 'decent' cannon video camera on my screen.

Looks quite real.

Phoenix sim using video camera

NVIDIA GeForce 9400GT video card.

My settings on the sim are as vivid as is allowed.
The FRAPS recorder is what's tearing up the video.

I could just use a camera I guess.
Yours looks great Sly

Yeah.. whatever is going on.. your FRAPS looks like it's the free FMS sim.. and not Phoenix!

It's from one of the Globe Trekker (TV show) CDs.. they produce lots of great music. I always fly to 'that' type of music and can never understand why people want to fly to head banger music.
