Hi Guys
I have one of the aluminum swash plate levelers i guess. I was wondering if it is better to use that to setup the rods for the servos or do it by eye. If i should use the tool how should i go about it. Do i put it under the swash plate and then set the throttle stick to 50% and attache the rods at that height or is it done another way. Any help would be appreciated. Jon |

I dont think it is done that way, although that depends on the design of the leveler, normaly the leveler goes on top of the swash and you fine tune the links to get the swash level, at bottom, mid and full height.
The height is set by the the amount of pitch you want, it needs to be able to go full negitive AND full collective without touching the frame while also being able to go full positive with full collective without interfering with the mixing arms above it. Then you need to adjust the other links to ensure everything above the swash is level and you have zero pitch at mid stick. look for the head setup video for the 450 pro in Finless Bobs Tech Room for a much better idea of what I am trying to discribe (http://helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=132747), and checkout the CCPM 101 videos while you are there, lots and lots of great information to be found.
