What to do with unused port from Steveconverter

I have the double Steveconverter. Port 1 for main and port 2 unused for the moment. If I touch the yellow wire (port 2) my motor suddenly runs at maximum speed. Do I have to connect it to ground? V+?

Ground it to de-activate the unused circuitry.
