550/500 flight times

I have a plastic 550 with 30a 1000/100 c/c ice/Gaui cf550 blades/tc 100 85 85 85 100/pitch 12 to 12
Gear 14/50/20/61 sky tach at 2000/turnigy blue lipos twin 3c 3600 30c

Been practicing invert hoover and flipping machine around no hard pitch pumping 6 min takes 2100! can go 7 min and still be safe

Flew my 500 today for the first time scorpion 3026-1000 heli direct 500 cf blades
15/50/20/61 for 2250 / rest same

Doesn't have as much power as 550 with 30a but still nice climb out at about 9 or 10 deg. Felt comfortable just not "pow". Felt a little dissapointed until I charged my lipos and only used 1750 for 6 min. can go 8min and still be safe. Will fly it just as is and get longer flight time for logging invert stick time..Had nose in inverted 15 feet up ,or should I say down, today.

Very happy 500 with longer flights and 550 with all the power I need

Nice one Frank - I prefer the 500s to the 550s as it is a bit more nimble, but you are running slightly higher HS than me that might make a difference. I wish that I had the patience to spend enough time on the SIM to crack inverted, but I just can't make myself do it

I just started doing loops this past yr now at the top side Im puting more and more neg in just to get the feel of inverted. I guess Im just kinda chicken too , I can do it all day on the sim but no nerve yet for real life --i'll get there maybe next season haha. nice job Frank. My 550 gets about 7 with sport sytle flyin and my 425 alot less about 5 min
