Just bought some AIR 94758z's and THEY DONT FIT! I read the other forums about this problem after the fact. Anyhow I will send them back to get some other servos. I know you can get them to fit but I dont want to go through the hassel. Just wondering if there are any thoughts on the Futaba S9255's. I know they are spendy but it is worth it if they will fit and have long enuf leads and will supply the performance I am looking for. I have a CC 85 amp and a UBEC. Will these servos work with this set up? If no what do I need. Please let me know. Just really want to get her in the air.

No reason, I just dont know what all is out there. I used to race cars and I always bought servos $100+ and had no problems with them. I would like to do the same and help reduce chance of a crash or failure. My mind is open to any suggestions.

That would be awesome. I had these in a Raptor 50SE and I LOVED them. I was playing around witht them last night and yeah all you need to do is add about 1mm in spacer to each side. Only question. I have the TP 5000mah and a CC85 amp and a UBEC. Will they work with this set up. I am still fairly new to electric.
Thanks |

I'm running the 94758 in my 600.
You will need one more spacer, I had the carbon plated from align so I just used these. They seat pretty tight but no problem.

Hey oldschool269 is your ball links on the servo arm paralell to the heli control arm. I am trying to figure out where to place my balls on the servo arm so they are pretty close to being paralell. It looks like you used the middle hole on each end? Anyhow just trying to finish my bird up.
Thanks for your help. |

they will fit fine. As posted above you just need to add another spacer. I had some of the raptor servo spacers laying around and worked perfect. For the cyclic servos you will have to use longer screws or leave the brass eyelets out. Also the stock 3 amp bec is to small so I used the new align 6 amp bec which seems to be working great.
Also you will have to place the ball on the inside of the servo arm. Also the wires on the 2 front servos are to short and will need a 3 inch exitation added to them. there is a few picks in my gallery if they help. Chris

How do you mount the 758 elevator servo. The 94758 has little notches that hit the frame. Does anybody have any pics of a 758 elevator servo mounted.
Thnx |

im not sure , my elevator servo went strait in ,, i did use the rubbers on all the servos... you will have to snip the end ( last hole ) off the lower elevator horn as it hits the tail mount ...when you go to the end of your throw .. ( i think this is where the single link idea came with the Szabos setup as you have to trim the bottom of the elevator horn off and can only use the top pushrod if you want to run the link in the last hole out on the horn...) ![]() Jason |

Oh I see how you did it. I was just going by what the manual says. Look closely and the Fut. and Hit. you put the mounting brackets on the servo on the outside of the frame. You just went ahead and put them on the inside. That is what I will do. Thanks!!!

Here is how mine turned out. I just ordered the carbon arms from ready heli. So i might be able to pull one space back out. Other then that I am almost finished with my heli.

Well I guess that depends. Do you have your balls on the outside of the servo arm or on the inside??? I could always pull the big thick black spacer to help with that problem. So what is the elevator link doing? Fouling on full pitch? What do you mean by that. Does it hit or something.

You have to trim (point 1) just a bit of the bottom of the elevator horn.
or itll contact (point 'z') when you go full pitch and full forward cyclic. ![]() as you can see here i have mounted my link balls on the outer of the horns , they wont clear on the indie of the horns... i did try that .. http://www.helifreak.com/album_mod/u...1706ab21db.jpg Good luck Jason |

Does anybody know what servo wheels will work with the airtronics 758's. I bought the carbon adaptor plates that mount to the wheel and I dont know what wheel will fit on the 758's. Here is a part number of one I was looking at. I also know about the JR Large servo wheels will work as well. I am just double checking before I order. PART#AIR98318
Thanks |
