Thanks for sitting on the flight line pretending that you love R/C Helis
Thanks for washing our dirty laundry (not just our clothes)!
Thanks for raising the kids... that we take credit for!
Thanks for understanding that we're drunk (We need that, you know)
Thanks for understanding that we're drunk (repeat intended)
Thanks for keeping us from spending "Food Money" for Heli parts!
Thanks for a warm body to spoon with (even though we take it for granted)
Thanks for " settling for us" (you could have done better)
Thanks for believing you "Couldn't have done better"
Thanks for not making our life a living Hell (you have that power you know)
Thanks for not thinking I'm "soft" for saying these things
Thanks for working hard at home and on the paying job
Most of all, thanks for being my wife!

The following is a Mothers Day card I wrote:

On January Twenty-Sixth Nineteen Hundred and Sixty
A young woman gave birth to her second son.
What would he become? I'm sure she wondered.

An Honest , Trustworthy,
Hard Working Man, Like his Father?

A Caring, Forgiving, Unselfish
Faithful Person like his Mother?

Although I may not have been all these things
All the time . I have always known, that no matter what
Life brings me, I have been truly blessed with
My Mothers Love

Happy Mothers Day
Barb and I love you Very Much

Tom, every time we pass your exit on the way to see my family, the Heli Freak in our family mentions how he would LOVE to stop by and see you.....
