Default YGE in Logo400SE

Is the YGE 60A LV OK for a Logo400SE running on 6S
Looking at my logs I mostly get peaks at 40A, and only 1 or 2 above 50A

Does the latest LV version come with the phase sensor built in for the VBar?

I recently asked this question to a vendor and was told probably best to go with the 100A version for a 6S Logo 400 stretch. Mine peaks at approx 115A on climb outs, curious as to your setup, as even before the stretch, my peaks were around 80-85A on 425 blades with a modest power system. In the end however, I chose a HW 100 which is apparently good for 100A steady gusting to 150A, only because it was sale. If/when it dies I'll most likely choose the 100LV as I'm very happy with the 90HV on my Logo 600.

I'm only sport/acro flying at 1900RPM on Edge 473 blades
No really hard 3D stops or collective changes. But maybe it is better to insure for the future when I might be a better pilot.

Are you using the VBar governor?

My flying style sounds similar to yours, though I'm running a HS of around 2100 on 520s. I guess that accounts for some of the extra Amps, though it's probably the motor, being a Hacker A40ET - it's nearly the size of my 600's motor!

Yes running the Vbar gov on both my helis and it's performing very well.

You'd probably get away with the 60, but for peace of mind, and to be running sub-maximally, it might be safer with an 80 or greater.

For what it's worth, MSH ships the YGE 60 with the Protos 500 (425mm) and it works fine, even on the stretch Protos with 473mm blades.

On the stretch Protos, a pilot the caliber of Dario or Luigi can get it to overheat but only when the ambient temps are high (~100F) and doing a maneuver nonstop that really loads the motor.

For those that didn't have the ESC with the kit or another similar heli to the stretch Protos, we typically recommend the 80LV.
