Check for robbe roxy, megapower, fusion hawk, all the same, for the bucks cant beat it, guys have run it at over 200 amp draw with 4525le motors and vbar gov, i'm using it myself costs about 100 gbp. Midlands UK had it, deduct 20 percent tax
You need a decent bec, but you need one with the castle anyway, best here is western robotics hv,

dankcincy - The original 7HV kit that Nankin offered had a 120A punch esc which is basically a rebadged robbe roxxy with heatsink, works great and as Stolla says is the same as a Fusion Hawk and Megapower. Just slight variations in end product regarding software and heatsinks. Sure it's not as good as Kontronic or YGE, but it's proven and works well with Vbar gov.

WR hercules super bec gets my vote too

If it wasnt for my winter side jobs I wouldnt be doing it. I dont think that I have to say why I dont do side work when the weather is nice.

I have two of these-one on the 7HV, the other on a Trex 700E.

They work very well.

Ah Clem, what timing do you run? I'm running the auto timing and PWM on 16khz for my HkIII 4035-560 13t, I run straight curves in 80% 90% 100%. Not dared try anything else as timings is not my forte!

Mixmaster,

It has been so long since I programmed one of these that I do not remember.

I think the timing is set to auto, but I could not swear to it.

These run cool and have a nice, proportional throttle range.

Okay thanks, yeah I just set and forget as well, never had an issue either. It's only since I moved and am thinking about reassembling the 7HV that I have even thought about it.

Well folks, last piece of the puzzle should be in the mail tomorrow. I just ordered Chrome packs from Ready Heli to power this beast.

Hail to dorkiness, then! I did the same thing with mine... just to see...

I've got Chromes for mine. So far after three flights, so good. I'm anxious to hear your impressions of them once you get your helicopter in the air.
