What's happening, very quiet in here lately.

I was thinking the same thing. At least for me, there's nothing to do on my Beam. I haven't crashed it so there's nothing to fix. It flies fantastically, at least for me, so there's nothing to improve upon. I could probably (actually I want to) convert it to FBL, but I don't feel like spending $300 to get there when I really don't need to. All I have to do is charge up some batteries and fly.

Well I have all the parts on order to stretch mine, just need to wait for them to get here.
Furion 450 belt and boom, 350mm blades and some 3mm CF rod to extend the boom supports and tail push rod.
Still chasing the tail vib but from what I am reading, it's a Beam "thing" to vib, which I'm not overly happy about. I have a solution to test but again, waiting on the parts.

Lately I am flying my mini titan and I love it!!! I had a long time to fly my mini titan and
forgot what i was missing. This heli flies big. In fact I love it so much I am building another one.

My wife's in medical school which means much less flying. I still drop in once in awhile. I think it's always been quiet in the beam forum. Not so many beam owners (check out all the buzz in the trex 450 forum!), so naturally not as much discussion going on. Also the beam is not much of a tinkerers heli, like cheap helis can be, e.g. esky for example, which can spark all sorts of discussion.

Just been flying mine. Over 100 flights now without a crash. Nothing to fix, nothing to buy, not lots to talk about. Great heli!

Yes it's been real quiet, hopefully everyone is enjoying their Beam!! Just ordered (not sure why, guess I need a new toy...lol) a Gy520 gyro and S9257 tail servo for mine, looks like I have some set up work to do in a few days......

. Hope I can get it all dialed in and tested before the snow flys. Happy flying everyone!!
