Default High Position Tail Rotor Assembly

Hi y'all;

I am about to pull the trigger on a e325 mini-titan pro kit after kicking around a Blade 400 for about 6-months now. I have upgraded just about every component of the B400 and will be moving my electronics over to the mini-titan. I am really intrigued by the high position tail rotor option for this heli. Can you buy just this tail assembly without buying the UH-1 kit w/canopy etc? I really want to move the tail rotor out of harms way after suffering MANY tail blade strikes with the B400.

Also, I want to buy a new motor for the e325 versus moving the B400 over. Is the stock Thunder Tiger outrunner motor a good compromise between power/efficiency or should I go with a Scorpion or other motor?

Thank you all in advance for your input!

You don't have to buy the whole kit to have the raised tail.
Here are the parts which make up the raised tail:

PV0905 TAIL BOOM 300mm
PV0904 TAIL DRIVE BELT
PV0906 TAIL BOOM PIECE 52mm
PV0907 TAIL GEARBOX
PV0908 GUIDE PULLEY SET
PV0909 PULLEY SET
PV0912 TAIL SKID SET
PV0049 TAIL BEARING D3XD8XD4
PV0763 LINKAGE BALLS 3.8
PV0919 BEARING D3XD6X2.5
PV0920 COLLAR D2XD3X6.3

Order these via a good LHS like experiencerc.com
Note: part numbers are PV-zero-number-number-number

Thank you B335! I like your e325 setup especially the high mount tail rotor. Hope to have my own e325 within a month or so. Thanks again for the info!

I moved from a b400 aswell. You will love the MT. Instead of keeping my b400 I gave it away as parts after flying the MT.

Thanks Digger1973! Looking forward to contrasting the e325 to my now retired B400. I just ordered the e325 kit w/Motor so hope to be back in the air within a week. The B400 led a brutal existence while in my learning hands and will most likely be broken down into parts and sold/given away. It did serve its purpose well; just time to move on!

The stock Titan v1 motor was a bit under powered and also came out hot after every flight.
I now use the Turnigy Typhoon 2215 motor in both my Titans and they work brilliantly, powerful and run cool... bonus is they are cheap!
