They are the same thing internally. Externally the copter-x is metal vs the plastic of the Tarot unit.

I see, I definitely want to upgrade later to FBL. Which rotor head is preferred then? the Tarot or the CopterX?

I am quite surprised that a solution can be bought for under $100

I have the Tarot ZYX FBL unit along with the Tarot 450 Pro head. They both work great. As others have said the tarot and copterx units are suppose to be the same. Not sure about the copterx head though?

What I really want is a DFC for the Blade 450
I have a spare HC3Xbase here so I just need the head I guess.
The Align one is to think, right ?

I'm not sold on the Align DFC stuff. The stresses put on by the motion allowed within the dampers eventually causes the grip to swash links to fatigue.
