I had the same thing happen to my Furion 6 belt, but managed to land it (tail was still driven by the mangled belt, which melted all over the tail shaft bearings). I don't like belts. Anyway I'll keep it tight from now on and we'll see how it goes.

There may be an update coming to the tail case for the belt. A friend and I have made a minor mod to the tail case and will post a pic soon, this may help the belt. stay tuned!
