Default newbie here - need 401 mount for 450se

Hey all,

i'm making the jump from planes to helis... so i picked up a 450SE (the new version2) - TX7 - FY401 - HS-65 servos. i still need to pick up the 9650 digital servo, but i'll get that this week.

i've been looking at the Finless build videos. they're quite incredible. i greatly appreciate those videos - assembly is quite a bit different that a plane...

Anyhow, to my question. i read a post earlier today about a mount to mount the gyro under the boom, but i can't seem to find the post again to order the part. Does anybody know where i can find (i've used the search to everything gyro related, but can't seem to refind it).

Thanks,
Dave

If you have the "new" V2 and not the orig. SE, there is no need for an aftermarket gyro mount, as the new design already has a surface for mounting the gyro underneath. If you do have the older SE, do a search for one of Finless' threads titled "gyro on top=bad" it should have the info you're looking for.
