i'm setting up a Trex 700E with V-bar and a 6ch R6106 receiver + V-bar governor on a hobbywing 120esc.

the problem is that i ran out of ports in my full size bleuline V-bar !

i need to put ch3 from the receiver into the 'aux' of the V-bar but the 'aux' is already occupied by the gyro/bankswitch channel.

also i noticed that the bankswitching on the v-bar reacts on the throttle input and/or idle up switch instead of the throttle channel.

i redid everything 5 times by the videos of mrmell and the instructions on the V-bar setup screen but no luck...

can someone hel me out please ?

Get yourself an s.bus Rx and then you have full functions, you can't have Bank switching, Gov selection and throttle on a vbar using normal Rx inputs, you need to do without one of them.

But if you get an R6203SB Rx its a one wire connection into the vbar and you get all functions.

the heli is'nt mine, i was setting it up for a friend, i never hooked up a V-bar with a seperate RX and a governor at the same time btw...

i did try to let out the bank switching and then put the ESC channel from the RX into the 'aux' on the v-bar but still no result, the banks keep switching when i give throttle/idle up.

and no there are no mixes set in the TX as far as i could see.

Are you on single servo in the radio?

You also need to set vbar to look for throttle on the aux input

Have a look at the governor with separate receiver video i made, more aimed for nitros in that video, but principle is the exact same.

hey Mrmel,
as far as i know i did the setup right with the cable from the 'throttle' from the receiver to the 'aux' on the V-bar, compared to your video it all looks like i did it good but if i give throttle my banks switch.

so if i go out of my setup sceen into my live display and i want to set my governor rpm with the throttle curve(off course with no motor connected) i noticed my governor screen disapeared and i saw the banks switching when i give throttle/idleup.

only @ zero throttle the bank is se to "0" and i can see my governor screen...

Disable bank switching in main screen. Set bank manually to bank 0

That, or copy bank 0 to all and then start to change

yes, i've set it manually to "0" in the bank switch screen and copy bank "0" to all banks but something does'nt feel right at that moment, i suggested to lay off the heli until this was solved...

ok thank you guys for the superb help, i'm going to take a look at it as soon as i can and try the suggested tips !
