Default Hurricane 550 metal tail grips from cnchelicopter.com work on the X5?

I'm wondering if these metal tail grips for the Hurricane 550 from cnchelicopter.com will work on the X5?

They will work fine but really there is no reason to switch away from the good stock X5 grips that everyone else uses.

Well you'd have to swap the bearings to account for the larger spindle.

Thanks guys. I will stick with the stock tail. Though I am curious as to why Gaui didn't include a metal tail when designing the X5. Then again, plastic doesn't necessarily indicate a poor quality component.
