J_log and SM modelbau GPS senzor

Hello !

I have J-log 2 and I also wish to konect GPS senzor from SM modelbau via Jeti Duplex telemetry to have real time data.

What cables I need to buy from SM too hook up all together and wich firmware I need to upload an dofcourse how too to hook together ?

I plane to put this stuff on my TDR for drag trinig, it it useful for that purpose ?

Anybodey have experiences with this combination ?

Hi!

JLog can sniffer and log speed and altitude from a SM GPS-Logger by two means:

a) Standalone (no telemetry): JLog is the busmaster on a Multiplex Sensor Bus (replacing a M-Link Rx). -->

b) Both devices are Multisensors on a Multiplex Sensor Bus, means we use M-Link telemetry, a M-Link Rx is the busmaster as normal. -->

No chance for JLog to sniffer data of another sensor on a JETI terminal bus.

The only thing you can do: Use a JETI Expander, connect the GPS-Logger and JLog2 each to one of the 4 ports of the expander. The cable of the expander connects to the JETIduplex Rx. Each device logs on its own. You may monitor data by a JETIbox by switching between both multisensors.

No other cable needed besides the telemetry cable from SM. -->

Special firmware versions if needed (Multiplex Sensor Bus!) to be find in this matrix.

Hello !
Well I hooked with jeti expander, everything works, exsept acustical alarms.
I get alarm on the display but no acustic at all.
Any idea what is wrong ?

Ummm... There was an update on an alarm issue, alarms through a JETI expander (months ago). Do you have the latest firmware on your JLog?
