I think you need to look into the MiniProtos...now there is one heck of a nice 450. Almost mechanically silent with full belt drive . Stretch kit for 350-360's available also. Speaking of which...ever run into 450-gripped blades longer than 360mm advertised? I'd love to stretch mine even further

With 350mm blades...1400, 1800 and 'normal' 2400 headspeeds:

And here I thought I flew in some small areas! Yes, that heli is sooo much better than my Trex's in design. No question. I am going to stretch two of them into a much longer version using Helihavens raised tail system on them by this spring. I will be running 395s. I just have way too much invested in the Trex now to let it go. I just went to Microheli running gear and the tail drive gear, ceramics throughout with the G5 tail system. But it will never run as quietly nor vibe free as a Mini. Here is the link for the 395s as posted in another section by Helihaven earlier.

Back to the 600. Has anyone used these blades yet? I am thinking about these even though they aren't 720s simply due to the pricing of them.

Thanks for the link...might be kind of tough fitting them though with the extra .5mm on the root. I guess that heli is big enough

Got my new toys in the mail today...Raptor Titan pulleys

5mm ID, 8mm wide max belt width, 9T...this should work out very well, and they are in the faster 'red' color! . Now to pick a length of tail and order up a nice readily available width XL belt...

Part number is PV0675, I tried to link them from Helidirect where I ordered them from, but they are no longer on the website, might have got the last ones. But that is what they are...

Those are just awesome! I have noticed lately that HD is dropping things. Stuff we ordered even this last summer for some of our custom mod stuff simply isn't there anymore.
Btw: I have my first stretch Helihaven tail coming my way, but it is for one of my little 450 guys. Cannot wait. I am jacked! I know he is time stressed right now so I appreciate his effort.

I think he is thinning out the stretch rails on the 600 version so that they aren't quite as heavy this next design phase if I am not mistaken? Also I just got notice that my parts from Rc-Tek are headed my way also. Whooohoooo!

Well, the 600 is changed out already. The guy I bought it from had used the metal plates for a Huey UH-1 as a guide to drill the 3rd bearing housing into my CF frame. (I have those laying around Btw as shown below). So if this is the 450 would that include a 3rd bearing journal installed into my Kde baseplate and a longer main shaft?
