So who has had a really big prang with this tray fitted and how did it stand up to the crash?

When fitted are the tray heights the same? My genace 3300mah only just fit with the stock tray if the tray were to get any higher my battery would hit the top of the frame

It is much lower than stock. You are eliminating 1/4" for the plastic trya plus the KDE tray sits a little lower than the bottom plate of the fusion.

I havent heard of one disappointed person yet. The best value KDE item there is.

Just fitted my kde tray setup,wow what great machine work,all the trays are ribbed and look mega strong,the design is so well thought out,quality is simply amazing,yer it's a $95 odd dollars,but who said this hobby is cheap? Swapping batteries is so quick I have three trays and planning to get two more,this setup really strengthens the frames,all I can say is don't have negative comments on this awesome upgrade unless u have installed or tried it!

i have taken the tray in and out a ton of times and still cant finger tighten it. im far from being a sissy, but i still need to use a screw driver. i still cant do it by hand.

Same for me. Mine are so hard to loosen and tighten that I actually stripped them a little to the point I am afraid to try again. I just change the batteries with the tray mounte anyway as I only have just the one.

They are an awesome upgrade but yes the thumb screws are really tight,I found putting silicone grease under the thumb screw head helped
