MSR & MSRX

Does anybody know if the MSR and MSRX share the same canopy? I sold all my MSR parts a while ago and dont have a way to compare.
Im asking because Xtreme has a nice looking canopy for the MSR that I want to mount on the MSRX without any modifications.

They don't. An mSR canopy won't fit an mSRX.

This is kind of true.
I just added two lower mounting holes and put grommets in them and the mSR Xtreme canopy fits my MSRX perfectly.

What you will need to do is when you apply the stickers is to make sure you cover the lower mounting holes with the provided stickers and you will not even know the canopy wasnt special made for the MSRX.

Be for-warned tho, The Xtreme canopy weighs about twice what the MSRX canopy weighs, But will all the extra power it shouldnt be an issue.

So you have to add more holes to it? Their canopy already has several holes as it was made to fit another helicopter.

Your correct, It comes with 8 holes in it all together. Four on each side.
The thing is you see none of them when you apply the stickers and only the ones you use will be seen.
Mine is setup to fit my mSR and MSRX and shows 3 holes on each side with grommets. Its nothing i find odd or ugly as the tend to blend in a bit. Also the canopy is twice the strenght of the stock canopy so added holes isnt gonna make it weak.
