Your battery amperage is lower but your motor amperage is the same or higher.

The higher the voltage supplied to a motor on a variable torque application the higher the amperage. However what you are supplying to your motor is actualy wattage, and if you have a 14.8 volt supply and are pulling off say 5 amps @ 7.4 volts, then your battery would see a 2.5 amp draw. There are other factors (efficiency) that come into play but that is the basics.

Does anyone have experience with the Hacker E-Series E3-37 3700KV motor for the T-Rex or Shogun helicopter.

I've been hearing bad things about the Hacker E-Series. Does anyone have experience with the HiMax 2025 4200KV motor for use with the T-Rex?
