for the guys using the outrage servos what servo arms did u end up using...i was gunna use the stock outrage wheels like i always do when i use outrage servos but this helis is direct to swash and don't think it would look right with circle wheel so wanna see what others are using and what i should use..i do wanna stay away from metal servo arms cause i hear the strip your gears in a crash and i rather strip a plastic arm instead...

Yeah I was just measuring this up when installing my servos and noticed none of the Outrage options really gave me the 17.5 thats called for.

Stock Atom 500 futaba arms work perfect on Outrage, MKS ot Futaba servos. Give you exactly 17.5mm from center

yeah the atom 500/6hv Futaba arms. Or you can use the MKS 4 point heavy duty arm, and cut all arms off but one.
Any Futaba splined arm will work, it's just getting it long enough and then strong enough that's the trick.

I just started building my 7HV and I have Outrage 9180's for the cyclic servos. I went by the hobby shop today and picked up the Du-Bro Super Strength arms and they did not work out. The nut on the ball link hit the metal bearing block because the Du-Bro arms stick out very far from the servo. I guess I will have to wait and order some different arms.

The arms that come with the Outrage servos are strong enough, but the best hole is at 19.5mm. Will that 2mm make a huge difference?

Got the Atom 500 arms in the mail today, I don't see how these fit the Outrage servos. The splines line up but trying to push the arm on...forget about it.

Dave Kettlehut, and I use the atom arms. I think Eric Brandenburg uses them too. Tony uses the MKS arms that he trims as I mentioned in my prior post.
The compass arm hold up fine in flight, at least that's my experience. In crashes they are prone to stripping the splines though, so keep some spares around. I think the MKS arms are beefier, so probably less likely to strip, but you are just moving a point of damage somewhere else IMO, ie other links etc... Something has to give you know!

edit : duh a post above says compass ones are exactly 17.5 so im gunna really try to find them in stock http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...rvo-Arm-Futaba
