Default DFC head or Tracx / Compass HV6

Does anybody have any views on the differences between these two head types?

No sorry, I'm interested in the differences between the new align dfc head and the Tracx (compass) head.

The main difference is that the tracx head has delrin rods for swash-drivers which makes sure the bolt fastening the y-arm dont break when the feathering-spindle moves when it dampens movement.

The DFC head don't allow any flex at all.

I love my TracX head and wouldnt change it for the world.

personally the DFC head still has a few kinks to work out.

Today I flew my 550 with the DFC head. first this head it's beautiful, the performance it's awesome. It travels, rolls faster and very precise.
Great job Align

I have a compass Atom and 6hv fbl and just fitted the Dfc head to my 550 and can say the Dfc head flies awesome it looks better than the compass head and as was pointed out to me the other day if you hold the head on the compass one you can twist the inner swash due to the flex in the delrin rods, this may or may not cause phase errors.

I think inflight they both perform well but the lower running height of the Dfc is brilliant.

Guys, thanks for all the answers.

I'm currently running 550mm main blades with stock tails (think thats 90mm), If I go with the DFC head would I need to change the tail blade size due to the lower height of the dfc head?
