Default Brushless MCPx to what?

I have a brushless MCPx, it's a very nice gateway drug into this hobby. Lately, I've been considering going to a bigger heli for no real reason.

So my question to you guys who have huge fleets of helis, which one? I'm thinking 450. The performance to price ratio seems to be just about right.

Since you already know how to fly, why not build a 500? You should be good enough from flying the MCPx to where you won't crash too much. A Main Hobbies has the T-Rex 500e for about $450, which is the price of the 450 kit.

Hi there

For your consideration... Gaui x5 - the heli that seems to get the "best of all worlds review" from a lot of people:

stable but aggressive
excellent weight to power ratio
big but small as a 500 class heli
large but still uses only one battery pack
needs no upgrades because it is a 1st class heli kit
Kit comes with all the "right stuff" electronically
large enough to allow good visual orientation
oh yea, it looks really nice as well
a heli to be proud to own today and tomorrow!

OR...

Hirobo Quark (The Foam Bladed Wonder!!!)

Outdoor flight in the breeze, 3-d capable, RTF, Almost 450 size but totally newbee friendly, Not full on hobby quality nor full on hobby setup intensive but still aggressive heli fun.

There you have it, two extremes to make sugar plums dance in your head!!

id personally pick a 500 like the compass atom or the protos 500, or if you have some more money, get the gaui x5 which is a "true 500" meaning it rund 500mm blades, the protos and compass run 425s
