What a great event it was, met some great people and amazing pilots. Thanks Big D for collaborating with my wife to make the trip possible, it was well worth it

The Detroit Mid American Fun Fly was a blast this year, good times were had by all!! The weather was a bit ominous at first, but ended up sorting itself out so everyone could do what they love most...fly, fly and fly some more! Darrell, you did an outstanding job organizing this event, focusing your attention on the hobbyists rather than the manufacturers and pro pilots, creating a truly relaxed, fun atmosphere that didn't alienate or overwhelm anyone. My wife really liked that I wouldve also its just I was so focused on winning that kit I couldnt hear or see anything else Lol. She hads almost as much fun as I did i'm sure she'll want to take me again next year
