Oh YEA BABY!!! Looking forward to it myself. Radical change from IRCHA.

IRCHA 2012 was one of the best I have been to out of 7 I have attended but our event is my favorite. Can't wait, only a few more weeks to go and we fly out on the 29th!!!

See everybody soon and please preregister. When you do, all you do is go to registration, show ID and your stuff is all ready, you then sign the AMA paperwork and you are done. If you got a shirt, you pick it up. Quick and easy.

You have to be there to win. If a number is called and nobody claims it we get the chosen kid who draws the tickets to pull another. We always find a well mannered child to draw the tickets and Palomar has a cool raffle plexiglass thing we spin them up in. It is all about transparency and fun. This event is probably unlike any you can attend in a lot of subtle and even some not so subtle ways.

Are you expecting the RV parking to fill up?
I don't know when ill be able to make it down there.
I'm hoping to make it for all 4 days. But if I can't and come down on Fri evening I'm hoping there's still space. Haha

Can't wait.

We're expecting a good turnout and are doing the RV thing a bit differently this year to try and maximize the space utilization. Friday is going to be the big arrival day. The earlier you can arrive, the better. Obviously we won't turn you away, but you may end up in a "overflow" area.

Im still not 100% on whether or not ill bring the rv or just a tent or something.

Also, power is only available at the pits via generator correct? Theres no other source of power?

That will probably be the case. I do not believe the club has a generator itself but there will be no shortage of generators around and I'm sure you can bum an outlet off someone. (Offer 'em a few bucks for gas if you do. 99% of the guys out there will turn it down, but it's a nice gesture just the same)

A little birdy (Well, if you call a 6'2" 275lb man a "little birdy") just texted me to let me know a couple of gentlemen we know as Bert and Bobby have booked their flights to SoCal... I sense epic happenings after the sun goes down...

Is there a cost to get in as a spectator, just to watch some flying?

Dan

I guess I have been called worse. Yes now I am a "little birdie". Hopefully I won't leave droppings in the Skid Box (Kevin's Camper).

I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.
