Just a quick notice for all you greedy raffle fans... The retail value of the prizes donated to the raffle as of this afternoon is $12, 588 and that does NOT include items like shirts, hats, stickers and other assorted swag. It also does not include the value of one sponsor's package because they're not entirely sure of what they're sending as of yet so that total *could* top $13,000.

Once again, Will and I would like to extend a huge thanks to all the vendors, manufacturers and retailers who are helping us to make this event what it is and to the Palomar RC Flyers for hosting us again. We couldn't do it without their support.

That is phenomenal... No doubt the result of hard work on the part of all those involved inputting this great event together. I am sure I speak for all of us "regular joe" freak pilots when i say "thank you" for all your and everyone else's time and energy that has been involved.

Cool deal. I just renewed my AMA (I found my old number) and on the receipt it says expiration 12/31/2013.

Well im for sure gonna be there , as are 5 -10 of the local guys i fly with , wasnt planning on flying at the event (i can barely hover just started helis ) but being the gready type ,gotta get in the raffel , im gonna sign up and "fly" , will be comming down in a rv and stay at the event , sounds like a ton of fun ... If everyone started with hovering, I was WAY behind the power curve!!! I think I had a good $1000 dollars of damage before I ever actually did what could be considered a "hover"!!!

Seriously, ReadyHeli hooked us up BIG TIME - Pretty much 1/3 of the value of the prizes came from ReadyHeli so if we give a shout out several dozen times during the raffle to Bryan and his guys down in Jupiter, FL, you'll know why.

HELP REQUESTED

Anyone with a 1-ton truck or vehicle capable of towing 10,000lbs with a 7-pin connector and trailer brake controller who wants to earn some free HF swag and get in on the volunteer only raffle, get in touch with me. I have a logistics issue with pickup and return of a couple travel trailers we're renting to house HF staff who are flying in for the event. You will need to provide proof of insurance covering the trailers while they are attached to your tow vehicle. (Anyone with USAA coverage is golden)
