There is no way in hell I will miss this event! Last year was so much fun! Most fun I have had at a flying event period! Can't wait for all the crazy night flying going on.

Well Wurger has been poking me to go to this so, silly question, but I am up in the frozen north, no AMA here, is a MAAC good? I got one of those.

Shouldn't be a problem as there is an agreement between AMA and MAAC to provide respective insurance converage at each other's events.. The actual agreement document is here:

I did a bit more digging and I didn't find anything that said you have to be an AMA member to attend/participate as long as your MAAC membership is current.

I think I might have to make the long trip... if i can. might see if I can get eve to come and make some deep fried snacks......... I was also told If i go I had to fly in a speedo

I can hardly hover as it is, a guy flying in a speedo will for certain make me need to us the "plastic bag"
