Quick note. There were a few updates added to Post 2 in this thread regarding night flying, port-a-potties and the site layout. Take a look.

If pre-registration numbers are any indication, you're going to be fighting for a spot if you don't arrive early. As of Friday afternoon, we've got 13 pre-registered pilots.

Pre-registration will get you through the registration line a LOT faster and will also help us better determine how many shirts to run up and how much we're going to need to feed you all.

Click on the QR code in the first post in this thread to be sent to the pre-registration site.

If you're not planning on flying, no need to register.

If you have a helicopter you need to try to fly.

I was so intimitated the first few of these I went to and everybody was so supportive. It's a weird atmosphere (in a cool way). Everybody is supportive and you'll be hard pressed to NOT find somebody willing to offer assistance or spot. Even the pro's are totally cool.

Not to mention the possiblity of finding someone that can buddy-box with you. Maybe get the first flip or loop under your belt, go crazy and learn some auto's or other 3D move, etc... (provided you're a registered pilot of course). I think I helped like 3-4 people with maiden flights last year alone. Always a good thing to help the newer guys come up in the world

I will just say this.... ARE YOU GUYS READY TO HAVE FUN?

Last year was awesome because everyone that showed up made it happen!
Remember a "fun fly" is exaclty that FUN

I think this year will be even better because I know all that come will make it better

Cant wait myself! The question is can I make it 4 days! On Sunday last year I was TOAST! I had no voice left if you can believe that. So this time I think I might have to "pace myself" more
Yea sure... that will happen..... NOT!

BTW.... Skiddz I remember you saying "Will I am retiring from ever doing this again"...... How did you get suckered into it yet again? Or are you just a nut ball?

So you all know... Skiddz this year is the total driving force into making this happen this year! He is doing ALL the behind the scenes work and let me tell you... This part of putting a funfly together is NOT FUN!
So if it is all jacked up.... YOU KNOW who to blame....

SKIDDZ

Clearly I'm an idiot for doing this again....

...and when you guys start posting that this event was (and I quote from several of you from last year's thread) "..the best fun fly I've ever attended", you know who to "blame".

We've got some very cool stuff planned and it's going to be an awesome time. Last year we literally planned it all in less than 90 days. This time we've had almost 9 months to work on it. You guys do the math.

Senility is a wonderful thing!

So by four days, does that mean Thursday through Sunday? If so, I'm in for all 4.5 days if the traditional 'show up the day before' applies.

Yes, Thursday through Sunday. You're welcome to show up Wednesday AFTER 4pm, but there will be NO flying until Thursday morning.

If you decide to show up Wednesday, we're gonna put you to work setting up awnings, tables, making chalk lines..

Yeah, I was kinda planning on that. I couldn't help out last year so hopefully this year I can lend an extra hand if possible.
